Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness : Enable aspiring entrepreneurs in the African agri-business sector to develop a business model and plan to get their agri-venture off the ground.
This course launched in 2018 and ran until summer 2024. The Agripreneurship Alliance is now seeking support to review and revise this course, embedding social and environmental sustainability into the programme and working to ensure that the course will be freely available to individuals, organisations and universities across Africa from early 2025.
Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs in the African agri-business sector, this hands-on programme provides the key steps for getting a business off the ground. Participants learnt how to understand market demand, develop prototype products or services, develop a business model, and raise funding.

This approach 'blended' online learning with in-person experiential teaching approaches with local facilitators having completed intensive training on use of the platform, course curriculum and experiential learning approaches.
